Colts Waive...Wait, What?

When I saw on the team's website that the Colts had made roster moves, and further discovered that we WAIVED three people, I thought, "Okay, good. We have started with the cuts. Curtis Painter is finally gone."

I then opened the article. Name one was not Curtis Painter. Name two was not Curtis Painter. Name three was not Curtis Painter. Did I miss something? If we can waive people, why has he not been cut? That should have been done while Grigson was on the plane from Philadelphia.

It is now theoretically possible that the worst QB of all time may be in Indy longer than the legendary Peyton Manning. What odds would you have placed on that after the regular season Jets game in '09?
