Per ProFootballTalk.com, former Colts 1st-rounder, WR Anthony Gonzalez has signed with the New England Patriots.

This fanposter is heavily in the minority, but I had hoped that Gonzo would be given a new chance with the new regime. Obviously Polian wasn't fond of him, or he would have actually played last season (for which he was healthy most the season). But, as is the case with almost the entire rest of the Indy squad (except for Reggie and Robert), if you have name recognition, you aren't coming back.

As a Colts fan, I wish the best to all former Colts on their new teams (so long as they weren't complete jerks). So, I hope all of Colts nation will join me in wishing Gonzo the best. Specifically,

I wish this for Anthony Gonzalez: that he is the top receiver on an 0-16 Patriots squad this year!!!
