Seems to me that we should have used the franchise tag on Pierre Garcon. Robert Mathis was really psyched to work for Pagano and it's hard to imagine any team would give him more than we did. Garcon, on the other hand, turned down $9 million a year, and a tag would have cost us $9.4 million. Plus, he may be a little upset that Manning's leaving and that the offense will be revamped into a run-first offense. Now it seems like Garcon may be out of Indy, when we should have been able to keep both of them. Poor Luck may have only only one veteran receiver (Collie) next year...
