I haven't posted on here before, but P-money and the Colts parting ways have caught my attention ( as it has everybody else). Watching it all go down, I've actually found myself wearing my Colts hat more in the past few days. In the end, I just want the Colts fan base to rise to the occasion. Yep, it was great having the GOAT while we did, and that will always be the standard for players. However, the fans have something to live up to as well. Remember when the Dome was so loud they accused us of pumping in music? I want to prove to everyone that these fans are the greatest in the league and not just because we had Manning. I keep reading and hearing so much how Irsay will be on the hot seat by fans if Luck doesn't prove to be a stud out of the gate, how Luck has insurmountable pressure and blah blah blah....all these people talking about the doom if things don't go n"right". All of these experts,in essence, doubting our fans. You know what I say? We aren't Green Bay fans - we will stand up for the new guy and be REAL fans. As much as I am a fan of Manning, I'm excited to route for a TEAM, not one dude. I'm giddy over the new management, new look Colts and everyone else should be too. Yep we are rebuilding- fantastic. I'm done mulling over Peyton, I wish him all the luck and feel this might be the kick in the arse he needs to end his career in such a flourish that he cements his legacy by becoming the only quarterback ever to win the big game with two different teams. Great, good, go do it. I'll be clapping as loud as anyone. However, great things are accomplished by bold moves and I love what the Colts are doing. Now its time for fans to step up and keep it real. It's our time to make all the new players and coaches feel the pride we heard expressed from Peyton as he left. it's time for Colts fans to pay some dues, and I for one am ready. This is what makes or breaks a fan base. It's time to stop wringing our hands and time to step up! Go Colts!!!!
