Round 1 (1): Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Round 2 (34): Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Round 3 (64): Alameda Ta'amu, NT, Washington
Round 4 (97): Ladarius Green, TE, La.-Lafayette
Round 5 (136): Marvin Jones, WR, California
I don't post a lot, but I do read all the articles and posts here. I thought I'd go ahead and do a mock draft and let you guys rip it to shreads lol
Round 1 is obvious, of course.
Round 2 is where it get's fun. There are a lot of opinions on this pick. A lot of people might not like the character issues and legal problems of Jenkins, but the talent cannot be denied. I don't think Fleener will still be there at 34 anyway. I know it would be a great pick if he were still available and if so, I'd take him. It probably won't happen though. So if Jenkins is there, we have to snag him.
Round 3 I think we have to take Ta'amu. We need that NT bad and while opinions vary of him, 350 lbs ought to ber able to plug up the middle. I hate this pick the most because while I am not sold on Ta'amu I think we have to take the best NT in the 2nd or 3rd round. People are saying this is too much of a stretch, but a year in a system to get better is as good for a NT as it is for a QB...
Round 4 I'm not sure how this pick will go over here at sb lol But this is a TALL FAST TE. From what I've read he seems almost like a big WR. I really like this guy and if he comes as advertised he could be a Clark type player.. A tough match up for a defense if used correctly. I love this pick.
Round 5 If we get the previous picks we would surely have to go for a WR here. A lot of people seem like Broyles here, but his injury scares me. Jones has height and whilehe doesn't have blazing speed he catches everything thrown his way and is strong for that position.
Well, there is my top 5 rounds. I'd love to hear any opinions. Thanks for reading!
