Another freaking Mock Draft!!

Stay connected for news and updates

First off, I am drafting by who I think will be available and in my humble opinion who could help the most with what I ‘think’ will be available. Round 1 is not included, we already know, done deal, beat the dead horse, whatever you want to call it.

Secondly, I think they will go late getting a WR. It is going to take a couple of years to be at the top again and I think the Colts are going to run with Wayne, Avery & Collie for the most part. They may add depth at the end or with UDFAs. But mostly, I think the Colts ‘Build the Monster’ starts from the ground up. Additionally, as much as it hurts to say, I think Donald Brown and Delone Carter are going to be the main RBs. Hopefully, with a full training camp and a healthy O-line… the run game will get better.

Round 2 – Amini Silatolu, G/OT (I would like Fleener here, but I do not think he gets past 49ers and Giants. I would really like if Harrison Smith got to us but REALLY doubt that happens.) Sitatolu could play tackle or center and would help a thin OL; Peter Konz C or Bobby Massie OT as a second or third option in Round 2.

Round 3 – Alameda Ta’amu, NT (They need a NT, and it shouldn’t be a reach here. Again you have to go BPA); Josh Robinson CB & Trumaine Johnson CB (both will probably NOT be available) would be my second or third option in Round 3.

Round 4 – Chase Minnifield, CB (Since I doubt Robinson & Johnson would fall to us, Minnifield is worth it in Rd 4); Markelle Martin S & Orson Charles, TE as a second or third option in Round 4.

Round 5 – Jaye Howard, DT (I like Redding being added and think Drake Nevis might work, but have no faith in Fili Moala or Ogbu); Rishard Matthews, WR & Kelcie McCray S would be my second or third option in Round 5.

Round 5 – Taylor Thompson, TE (If Jones is available it would hard to pass him up OR, if we did get Fleener in Rd2… but I doubt Jones falls to us); Dwight Jones, WR & TJ Graham, WR would be my second or third option in Round 5.

*** I think the last four picks could go any which way… but I think they add depth again to build the monster from the ground up ***

Round 6 – Duke Ihenacho, SS (Adds some depth behind Zbikowski)

Round 7 – Jacquies Smith, DE (Additional 3-4 piece)

Round 7 – David Gonzales, OT (Adds some depth to the RT position)

Round 7 – John Hughes, DE/DT (Additional 3-4 piece)

Feel free to disagree… tear it up or what have you. We only have to guess until Thursday and it cannot get here fast enough! Go Colts.
