Allen and Hilton...Good or Bad?

I'll admit, I damn near fell out of my chair when I heard that Allen was taken in the 3rd round. I was shocked that another TE was taken, especially considering all of the gaping holes this roster currently has. To add to that, I came back from dinner to see that the Colts had traded up to grab Hinton. It has taken me a few hours of thinking about this to come to this conclusion: I like it. I know its not what people were expecting, but Grigson is going to equip Luck with as many offensive weapons as possible. I think running a 2 TE set with TEs that have different skill sets will work out in the long run. I am less sold on Hilton. I am sure he is a good player, but was he worth drafting up for? Wouldn't he have been there in the 4th? My true concern is that the defense is going to be terrible this year, probably worse than last year if that's possible, especially the secondary. They need to draft defense and O-line from here on out to round out this roster. So, were these two picks good or bad? Do you think it would have been better to start building the defense by drafting at least one defensive player tonight?
