I was hoping he would be drafted by someone...I was hoping it would be to a team that can use him and develop him. If Stanton leaves next year (which I assume he will) why not this QB? We know we would not want Painter in this position...I wouldn't even want Dan in this position. The MAC is not exactly glamorous (except Big Ben) but Harnish brings something to the Colts that some of their more recent RBs haven't...the ability to pick up short yardage. I can't blame all the RBs because we had Faulk and James (which coaching and dare I say a QB ego) did not get the ops to run when they should have sometimes, and maybe a QB that can step out of the pocket and not collapse when he is called upon (gasp not a Painter or Sorgi) will be a good addition. Lets not call him "Kafka-esque - a rib toward Mike Greeny a NW alumn.
I watched Chandler in the "irrelevant" bowl game before the BCS Championship and I like what I see. Yeah it is probably Illinois bias (since we cannot count on the Illini or the Wildcats here), but I still think he will be a solid backup.
