You guys have to be feeling it. I almost can't sleep waiting on this draft. Even more excited for the season to start. If free agency is any indication, the draft will be the best one in years. I mean, this defense has been infused with bigger, nastier players. If no one else is added, we are still looking at a pretty good sized DLine. We haven't been able to say that for years!!!!!!!
Offensive line has been rebuilt. I think the only position really hurting on the Colts is WR/TE, but I am totally expecting that to be addressed in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if rounds 1-4 aren't all skilled players on offense and the last 5 picks all defense (CB,CB, DT, LB,LB).
I will update predictions after the draft but as it stands right now with current roster (and Luck), I see no worse than an 8-8 record. Call me crazy but if the Colts come out with something like Luck, Fleener, Streeter or Luck, Quick, Green, then I think they make it to the playoffs. Absolutely no reason why they can't. These are exciting times people. If you aren't feeling it, you might need to put a mirror under your nose to make sure you are still breathing!!! The Colts actually have a motto going into the season (Building the Monster)!!!!! That alone is starting to bring a new attitude. If I am feeling it as a fan, the players have to be feeling it as well.
Grigs has been very efficient this offseason, things are starting to look promising. The roster is actually being solidified from the inside out!!!!! Only a few moe holes left to fill.....I want to toot my own horn:) so I'm going to say I called the signings of Samson Satele and Brandon McKinney. I actually called the Drew Stanton trade as well but only my co-workers can confirm that one. Future is looking bright for the Colts. Be excited people......be very excited!!
