Where are you at? I know this is a slow time of the year but I am surprised there aren't more Colts related posts. I am excited as all get out!
The Colts have cleared out most of the old/oft-injured players, high salaries, and players that just aren't that good.
They've added a franchise QB in one Mr. Andrew Luck, they've infused speed at the WR position in Avery and Hilton while maintaining some sure hands and route running (Wayne, Collie). Size, hands and speed have been added to the TE position. The Oline is bigger, younger and more versatile. The best RB on the roster has a fresh start now (D.C.)
They've added the behemoth we've all been clamoring in Brandon McKinney and several other DTs that can actually clog the running lanes. The DEs are all bigger than the QB and can set the edge. The two best pass rushers are still on the team and hunting out of different formations geared to help them do what they do best (as if they actually need any help), and now they aren't mainly responsible for stopping the run. Most of the secondary is young and athletic and the new guys have BLAZING speed (when is the last time anyone has said that? Oh, did I mention the most underrated safety is still on the team?
I really don't need to mention the positive impact the change of front office and coaching staff is already having. 10 -6 with a playoff birth......Build The Monster!!!!!
