The Colts made a very smart P.R. move yesterday (one of the few they've done this offseason, but baby steps, baby steps). They made first over pick Andrew Luck available to season ticket holders. Fans were able to ask Luck questions over the phone, and one of them (Charlie, a season ticket holder for 15 years) asked about the differences between the Stanford offense under David Shaw and the Colts offense under the direction of offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.

Luck answered:

"The Stanford offense has a lot of the West Coast ideas in it," Luck said. "So all of the terminology was West Coast. (Colts offensive coordinator Bruce) Arians’ offense is not West Coast, so it’s learning a whole new thing. It’s not too bad, and practice reps help."

Also, with no fullback on the roster at present, it seems like we won't be seeing any "Spider 3Y Banana" plays. Bright side: He won't throw the Venus on that play.
