It's America's birthday... Jim Irsay gives to charity... Chandler 'Mr. Irrelevant' Harnish goes on TV... Eric Miller has a baby... Megan is NYC bound...
Jim Irsay donated $10,000 on behalf of the Colts to some select charities in honor of 'Irrelevant Week.' Those charities included the Goodwill Fitness Center and the Radio Isotope Therapy of America (RITA).
The final pick in the 2012 NFL Draft this year went on NFL Network to talk about being drafted by the Colts and about the guy he will he holding a clipboard for: Andrew Luck
Paul Kuharsky talks about who on the Colts is battling for a roster spot at the cornerback position
Ryan Van Bibber ranks the Colts dead last out of 32 teams when it comes to talent and depth at corner. I'm convinced part of the reason he did this is because the Colts signed Justin King.
A few fun staff notes on this fine holiday:
- Eric Miller hasn't been writing much because his wife gave birth to a baby boy two weeks ago. Evan Alan Miller, weighing 7 lbs. 8oz. and is 19.5 inches long. Eric plans to time his 40 and get his vertical leap stats sometime next month. He insists quarterback. I think Evan would work better at safety. If you can, shoot Eric a congrats in the comments section here.
- Megan Brown left Indianapolis this morning and is moving to NYC where she can embark on a career of constantly be told that she knows nothing about the Colts because she now lives in New York. Best of luck with the move Megan, and welcome to the Big Apple. P.S.- Jets fans will pee on you if you go to a bar in a Colts jersey. Don't ask me how I know that.
Happy 4th of July, everyone. Weird having it in the middle of the week. Enjoy a few brews today (I recommend Brooklyn Lager), and stay safe.
