Well it's official. According to Yahoo! Sports, Austin Collie did sustain yet another concussion during their loss to the Steelers in last night's preseason game. Colt's head coach Chuck Pagno did say that Collie ''felt good", but because this is his 4th concussion in 22 months, Collie's long term health doesn't look too good.
I wish the young man the best of luck with his life, and therefore, I truly hope the Colts release him before Saturday's game against RG3 and the Redskins. Concussions are extremely dangerous, and they only get more and more frequent after the first. Collie suffered a 4th concussion in his second game of the year. What makes you think he won't suffer another one before this season ends? Five concussions in a span of 2 years is brutal, and wouldn't want Collie to jeopardize his long term health for football.
Get better, Austin.
