This certainly shocked me. Looks like Bleacher Report is either attempting to stir the pot here in Indianapolis, or they have information that we don't. I have a hard time believing the Colts will cut Freeney. Who knows, maybe they have someone in mind that could fill his place after the second round of cuts/waiver claims. I personally feel Freeney has never truly been on board with the idea of dropping back into coverage. I really hope the team keeps him around during the regular season, if, for no other reason, to sell out a few more games. It would be a real bummer to take down another banner from the side of Lucas Oil Stadium.
