Jason Brewer of Bleeding Green Nation and SB Nation Philly has blogged about the Philadelphia Eagles since 2007. While the Eagles have a tremendous following, as well as a dynamic assortment of team blogs, BGN always seems to have the most level-headed, realistic vibe when it comes to Philly football. Critical, but not insane. Realistic, but not doom and gloom.
Like other blogs, they are credentialed, and Jason has a very strong grasp of what goes on within that organization. Since former Eagles personnel executive Ryan Grigson was hired as the Colts general manager, Indy and Philly have made three trades, two of which have happened while the team are in camp. To help give us some insight and perspective on Grigson and the new players he's brought to Indianapolis via these trades, Jason hopped on a podcast (which we recorded Thursday night) and offered his thoughts.
Players discussed include Winston Justice, Mike McGlynn, D.J. Johnson, Moise Fokou, and Greg Lloyd. Jason also talks about other trades that may or may not happen between the two teams further down the road. Hope you enjoy.
