Today is the home opener for Jim Irsay and his "new era" Indianapolis Colts. This is a big game because Irsay has a chance to showcase his Peyton Manning-less team to the local faithful. If the Colts play well and win, Irsay scores a victory and get get disenfranchised fans interested in the team again. If Indy gets rolled, like they did in Chicago last week, Irsay will be scrambling to sell out games for part of the season going forward. With Manning looking to have returned to his old form in Denver, Irsay cannot afford to field a dud this week.

Injury updates: Austin Collie, Winston Justice, and Dwight Freeney are out. Replacing them are Donnie Avery, Jeff Linkenbach, and Jerry Hughes. Seth Olsen will also get the start this week for the injured Joe Reitz.

Start Time: 1:00 p.m. ET

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium- Indianapolis, IN
