Raiders sign Joselio Hanson, waive former 2nd day pick
Two interesting tidbits in one utem of news-- ever since he was cut on Saturday, hoardes of Colts fans have figured that signing ex-Eagles CB Joselio Hanson would be a logical move given Grigson's connection to one of his former players, to say nothing of the obvious need at the position. The Raiders have beaten us to the punch by signing the FA Hanson, and simultaneously opened up the possibility for some brand new waiver-wire speculation on our end. To sign Hanson, the Raiders waived 2011 3rd round pick CB DeMarcus Van Dyke. The Colts, if interested, would have right of first refusal to sign him at his "rookie contract" rate. So-- does anyone have any insight into how well this kid can play?
