Even though he is an insufferable Jets fan, Jason McIntyre [Editor's Note: Got my Jasons wrong. Jason McIntyre, insufferable Jets fan who is the editor of TBL, didn't interview Luck. It was Jason Lisk, one of McIntyre's writers at TBL.] Mr. Jason Lisk did a nice job in his Q & A with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. One of the more interesting revelations was Luck's candor regarding the whole "Suck For Luck" campaign that many NFL fanbases (Colts included) engaged in; opening rooting for their team to lose so they'd have a better chance of drafting Andrew Luck.

What were your thoughts on the "Suck for Luck" slogan that began last year, and did your teammates tease you with that at all?

Andrew Luck: Oh yeah, they razzed me about it, which was well deserved. Part of having teammates. I wasn’t a big fan of it. I think you never want to see fans encourage their teams to lose. I didn’t buy into it.

Some other revelations from Luck:

  • NFL protections and protection calls are the biggest football-related adjustment between college and the pros
  • Luck views Coby Fleener and having more "full speed" ability while Dwayne Allen is more short area power and quickness.
  • Unlike Ryan Tannehill, Luck knows all the divisions in the NFL. He also knew that NFL Europe, the league his father once worked in, had no divisions.

Good job by Jason Lisk and TBL overall.

Note to Jason McIntyre- The Jets still suck.
