The Colts gave up their second round pick for Vontae Davis this year - it's early, but I think that was a good move. However there is great depth in this draft through the first 60 picks and the Colts could certainly use additional help in the second round. They have to defend an 11-5 record, facing a tougher schedule.
Would you trade next year's First Rounder for this years Second Rounder? The Colts did that under Polian with bad results - anyone remember Tony Ugoh? I am also assuming there would be an interested party willing to trade their second rounder (maybe some team up against the cap).
I am not quite ready to say yes, but am leaning that way. They could get some real help in Oline, Dline or Secondary in the second. I guess I am waiting to see what happens in free agency, because for the first time in what seems like forever, the Colts have a ton of cap room.
What do you think?
