Just read where Casey Hampton is not expected to be back with the Steelers next year. Hampton is old at 35 but is still effective, and has been in the Steelers 3-4 Defense for years. I think this would be a cheaper good quality nose tackle to use for a couple years, especially in a rotational situation with McKinney and Chapman. Hampton's knowledge would also be great for a young guy like Chapman.
This would hopefully allow us to sign other impact players at positions of need..
