I am only mildly disappointed by the loss. Yes I was screaming my head off for the WRs to make a "darn" catch and almost had a heart attack, but about 5 minutes after the clock was at 0:00, I felt better. Why you ask? Well, the Colts are in position to really improve this team. In my opinion, it has to start with the line on both sides of the ball.
On offense, Colts should immediately go after Andy Levitre, Brandon Moore, and Phil Loadholdt. This will give Luck a very good pass blocking line and should also be better at run blocking.
For the defensive line I think the Colts should go after Michael Johnson, and Connor Barwin. This should immediately improve the pass rush. I think DRC and Kenny Phillips should be added to the mix to help fix the secondary. I'm not sold on Zbi being the long term answer. I can live with Lefeged and Zbi though if it means adding DRC or Mike Jenkins.
Whatever they don't get in free agency, they absolutely have to get in the draft. I would be ok if they didn't sign Connor Barwin but got Ezekiel Ansah or Dion Jordan in the first round.
I would be ok if the only additions were the 3 Olinemen plus another shutdown corner. I think first and foremost, the Oline needs to be addressed.
Fans should be excited, I think this is going to be the most interesting off seasons in a LONG time! I am still #COLTSTRONG and want to be the first to say the Colts finish 11-5 again next year but win the division this time around.
