Needless to say, but what an amazing year by the Colts! The transformation that has occurred over just one measly year is unbelievable. Grigson, Irsay, the players, and the employees have made this transition a smooth one. However, the season is over for the Colts now, and we have many voids to fill and areas to improve.
Firstly, the Offensive-line needs remodeling. Who should we look at, and are there any cheap fixes to consider?
Secondly, Zbikowski is slow and takes terrible angles. There has to be a more competent player available. Should we consider the draft? or sure it up through FA?
Thirdly, OLB/DE/DT/MLB/RushLB; These all need to be upgraded. Who replaces Freeney? Moala and Nevis don't seem to fit the bill at DT. I'm not sold on any of our MLB's with the exception of Freeman.
Finally, I think it is apparent, if the Colts want to win now, we need a tall, built, receiver. Marques Colston esque. I'd hate to spend a lot of cap money on a Bowe or a Wallace. We will however need to look at an all around receiver for Wayne to groom in the very near future.
