I tried to bump up my previous post about Jerry Hughes but apparently the thread is closed for comments. Earlier this year, during August of 2013, I tried to make a point about Jerry Hughes having a very strong preseason for the Buffalo Bills. As of today, Hughes has 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 33 tackles for the Bills through ten games. Four sacks have come in the last three games. The six sacks are second on the team behind Mario Williams who has 11. Is it possible that we simply did not use Hughes in a way that highlighted his strengths. The more and more I watch him play I begin to wonder if he's turning into a Tim Jennings type player who's career blossomed after leaving Indy. I watch Bills games on replay and often see Hughes being a very productive pressure-inducing defender who seems to have found his home in Buffalo. Just wanted to hear from Colts Nation.
