Welp This Isn't A Whopper... David Reed A Goner?

But the Indianapolis Colts have signed Chris Rainey.

Rainey recently ran a 4.3 40 while trying out for the chiefs, he was a 5th round pick by the steelers in 2012, used mostly as a returner. Rainey had a string of off the field incidents that led to the steelers cutting the 5'9" 180lber (even though they refuse to cut their rapist QB). The incident that got Rainey released was later denied by the girlfriend (I assume she was then the ex-girlfriend) that alleged Rainey slapped her.

Personal issues aside in his one year in pittsburg he averaged 26.5 yards per return and returned one for a TD.

I probably wont be springing for a Chris Rainey jersey anytime soon but it's nice to see that we're trying to fix any field position issues we may have as a team. I don't think that David Reed is really that bad, physically, but mentally I wouldn't trust the guy to water my cactus. The above article also mentioned that we were trying guys out at several other positions, so the roster churning may not be finished.
