A very good prospect for our O-Line

6.5", 315 pounds, and yet he still runs a 40. He's started every game of his still young (24 years old) NFL career. From the NFL.com draft page we find the following about him coming out of the draft.

He has prototypical starting skills for the tackle position. He missed just two games in his career and is extremely tough. He carries his weight well and is one of the most technically sound prospects in the draft. He has a smooth, efficient pass set that allows him to get a solid base and work from a balanced state. He is powerful and aggressive against the run and a very good foot athlete at his size. He was the anchor of a very polished Stanford offensive line and is simply an NFL-ready tackle who possesses all the traits.

At Stanford Jonathan Martin blocked for Andrew Luck. Wouldn't he be comfortable playing with his other fellow Cardinals Coby Fleener, and Griff Whalen?. Even more reassuring, the Colts OC, Pep Hamilton, was Martin's OC at Stanford.

Young talent and a great fit! It sure looks Miami will have to part ways with Martin, and he says he wants to continue in the NFL. Will some team have to trade for him, or how will this work?
