Branch, 34, last played for the Patriots last season, catching 16 passes for 145 yards and no touchdowns.
Branch is a former Patriots second-round draft pick from Louisville who has caught 518 career passes for 6,644 yards and 39 touchdowns.
Branch has also played for the Seattle Seahawks.

What are your thoughts on this? I feel that with the emergence of Rogers and Brazill, this move isn't really needed. If they were to sign him, they should have done it immediately after Reggie went down, so he could have had a decent amount of time to acclimate himself to the system. Now I don't really see the need, and I don't think he will have enough time to learn the system to make an impact for the playoffs, if they do decide to sign him.
