Since we're starting to play the blame game as the season closes out and we look for all the reasons why the Colts aren't very good and have digressed. You have to look back to May 9th, when our trusted GM, Mr. Ryan Grigson foolishly traded AQ Shipley for a bag of peanuts to the Baltimore Ravens. Ok, it wasn't actually a bag of peanuts, but it was pretty damn close, a 7th round pick. Seriously, a 7th round pick?
Most of you probably don't know, but Shiply is actually the starting Left Guard now for Baltimore when their Starting Left Guard Kelechi Osemele went down for the remainder of the season back in early November. From what I am reading it looks like Shipley has filled in pretty nicely.
Check out this sweet block he had for Ray Rice a few weeks back.

So you have to beg the question on why in the world did we trade this guy away. Especially when he outplayed Samson Satelle in the 2012 campaign? That move didn't make sense in May and even makes less sense today. Could you imagine a starting Offensive line configuration like this?
Left OT – Costonzo
Left Guard - Reitz
Center - McGlynn
Right Gaurd - Shipley
Right Tack - Cherius
This lineup doesn't seem half bad at all if you ask me or at minimum, it would be a largely improved lineup to the crap we've seen all year. So I hope you're happy Mr. Grigson that you traded away depth and versatility for a bag of peanuts, oh I mean a 7th round pick!
