For a while now it seems like Luck has been throwing over the heads of his receivers. I can't remember when it started though. It seems to have gradually gotten worse since the bye week. That's the same time that the offensive line issues started getting worse. I've seen people attribute Luck's high throws to being pressured more, which would make sense, since he's trying to get rid of the ball quicker, but I have another theory.
We all saw the play that ended Reggie Wayne's season the week before the bye. Luck under-threw a wide open Wayne and when Reggie reached for the ball, it was over. Luck later blamed himself for the injury in a press conference, but to me it just sounded like something you say after something like that happens. Does anyone think that Luck really blames himself for Wayne's injury, and if so, do you think the high throws are a result of Luck not wanting to under-throw anyone?
