DHB and his future in the NFL and as a Colt

I was one of the many fans (most if not all really) that was yelling that Darrius Heyward-Bey should be benched, release and publicly flogged just a few weeks ago. Now watching how he has played when given the chance (mostly as a blocking WR on running plays) and filling in for Sergio Brown as gunner I am conflicted about how I feel about his future as a Colt. He is a great athlete with very good football knowledge and bad hands. He has played selflessly these last few weeks and seems to have a true team mentality. He was in a bad situation for four years and seems to really appreciate being a member of this Colts team. Going forward do we resign him as a special team player very low on the WR chart, let him walk, or awhile back there was talk of a position change to CB. I did not think a position change was a good idea before but watching him these last few weeks he may have the athleticism and mentality to be able to do that. Anyone else conflicted.
