I have seen a few mock drafts (including a new one on nfl.com) that have Kawann Short going to the Colts at #24. To be honest, I went to an SEC school and really do not know much about him. Apparently he looked really good at the Senior Bowl practices and I could see him setting the edge as a 3-4 DE (6'-3" and 310 lbs.). He also will be able to add something in the pass rush from the reviews I have read. The only negatives I have read about him is that he can have an inconsistent effort. With Redding and Nevis being oft-injured and Moala a free agent and coming off a knee injury, I think getting a 3-4 DE is important (along with O-line, Rush OLB, S, and CB). Is this guy a good option at #24?
