Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star informs us that "wopper" is still ongoing.
We finally have an update on the mystery wide receiver that the Colts are looking to acquire whose name is not Victor Cruz, Larry Fitzgerald, or Darrius Heyward-Bey. However, the update does not come from Twitter's super freak, Jim Irsay. Instead, it's the next best thing! Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star:
Also told the Colts are still in play for this mystery wide receiver -- don't know who -- but are waiting for the price to go down.

Small side note: Good to see Bob writing and working after suffering a mild heart attack fairly recently. Stay healthy, big guy.
Another small side note: Kravitz's comment about the "price to go down" suggests that "wopper" is a free agent, not a potential trade piece. Or, perhaps the price is the draft pick compensation the other team wants for "wopper."
One thing Irsay did tweet out this evening was this, which was sent not long after the news of the Colts signing quarterback Matt Hasselbeck hit the Internets:
Shifting gears....insurance policies are VERY valuable...makes your pillow softer at night......
— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) March 19, 2013
The "shifting gears" line could be interpreted as the Colts backing out of the "wopper" negotiations, but Bob is pretty wired into Irsay and his players dealings.
Basically, "wopper" is still developing.
