Assuming the inevitable happens and the Eagles release Asomugha, I think there is an off chance the colts pick him up. Everyone thinks Chuck wants Cary Williams because of familiarity. After seeing a report that Williams allowed something like a 98 passer rating against him, I do not think this is what we need, I'd rather resign bulter a lesser known proven CB than someone who allowed a 98 passer rating! Anyway, my point I am trying to get to is: familiarity. Its not always talked about, but Chuck was the DB coach in Oakland during the 2005 and 2006 season. Statistically, 2006 was Asomugha's best season. So I believe there is an off chance that if the price is right he would be a good addition to our secondary. Again, the price would have to be right because its a little worrisome his best year was so long ago, but he could be a short term answer to a glaring problem. Thoughts?
