Currently Kiper has DeAndre Hopkins going 55th to the Packers, and McShay has him out of the first round (did not do a two round mock). His measurables seem to be right in line with a first round pick, as he has good size (6'1", 215), decent speed (ran a 4.57 at the combine, was clocked unofficially between 4.4 and 4.5 at the Clemson pro day). Additionally, he is supposed to be a great route runner, with great hands, who plays faster than his measured times. I live in the Boston area and saw him play against BC this past year, and he torched us for 11 catches, 197 yds and a touchdown. Admittedly, the Eagles don't have the best secondary, but he did put up great numbers against LSU in their bowl game.
I am not sure if he interviewed poorly at the combine, or has some other off the field issues- I haven't heard any, but I view him as a possible replacement for Reggie Wayne, while in the meantime being a good no. 2 receiver (I know we just signed DHB, but it was only one year) and allowing Hilton to operate out of the slot. This is the guy I want the Colts to pick with the no 24 pick,
