* HOME GAMES are capitalized

* Flex scheduling is from weeks 11-17 (the NFL can change the times of the games if need be)

  • The Colts play 4 night games. At San Diego on Monday Night Football, then against Denver on Sunday Night Football the next week, then a bye week, then at Houston on Sunday Night Football, and then two weeks later at Tennessee on Thursday Night Football. So in a span of 6 weeks (5 games), the Colts play at night 4 times.
  • Nice way to start the season playing the Oakland Raiders.
  • Peyton Manning returns on October 20th. OCTOBER 20th. I was hoping it would be the first game of the season, but the Broncos host the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens to start the season. The Colts get Peyton the week before the bye week in what is perhaps the most anticipated game of the season.
  • The Colts play former offensive coordinator and interim head coach Bruce Arians on November 24th, when the Colts visit the Cardinals, where Arians is the new head coach.
  • AFC South play for the Colts begins on September 29th at Jacksonville and concludes in the final week of the regular season at home against the Jaguars.
  • Overall, the schedule isn't too tough. There are some very good teams thrown in throughout, but there is no way that the Colts shouldn't make the playoffs this year. Ok, now I'll go shut up because it's way to early to talk about the playoffs.
Also, check out Josh Wilson's look at the five most anticipated games of the season.
