Hi everyone in the SB blog community! I just wanted to give a brief run-down of what I feel the season will be like from an emotional and statistical stand point.
We all know how last season went, the Cinderella story-good enough to be a blockbuster hit. I was actually at the colts first home game last year, just off a blow out loss to the Bears, I came all the way from Virginia to see this team. During the pre-game Chuck came out of the tunnel with fire and energy as he yelled "Go Blue!!". From then I knew he was special, that he would bring on the best in every single player we have and he would bond the team together. As you all know we finished 11-5 and went to the Playoffs.
The 2013 season will prove to everyone in the NFL that it was not a fluke but a tradition that will be carried out year to year. We will compete and we will win alot of games. Luck's accuracy will improve, he will have far less interceptions (9-12) and will have alot more redzone tds. Our defensive line will be alot more stout and tough against the run..I see us being in the top 10 with rushing yards per game allowed, while our passing defense will struggle a bit (18th-21st)-being because its roughly the same unit +Greg Toler. I also see Bjoern Werner as a STEAL at 24, having watched him play against University of Virginia I thought he would he easily a top 5 pick last year, but his combine made him slip to us in the 20s. Having said that Bjoern is still a raw football player who's talent is yet to be tapped but will come out full force with Chuck and Greg coaching him up.
