Every year Rob Rang write's an article for CBS Sports about his diamond's in the rough leading up to the NFL Draft. Personally, I think Rang is one of the best draft prognosticators out there, and historically he's done a good job in this article of highlighting some lower tier players who end up becoming solid contributors in the NFL (Last year TY Hilton was on his WR list.) I posted this year's article in a previous fanpost (link here: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/blog/rob-rang/22083960/diamonds-in-the-rough-2013-is-matt-scott-the-next-russell-wilson )
So after the draft I went back to see if we picked up any of his diamond's in the rough this year, and sure enough, there were a few.
Kerwyn Williams was his #5 RB (which actually means his 6th RB listed)
Montori Hughes was #3 on his DL
John Boyett was #1 on his S
Also, in the undrafted FA we signed Sheldon Price who was his #4 CB.
This doesn't mean anything obviously, but I found it interesting the Colts signed 4 of the possible 54 players he listed, and 4 of 48 if you don't include his QBs, who we weren't going to be signing. Just thought I'd share.
