Donald Brown in 2013

Up to this point, to say that Donald Brown's pro football career has been unproductive would be an understatment. Yes...He has shown flashes of brilliance at times but the overall thought of Brown is that he is a bust. But I am not ready to give up on him yet! When he was drafted out of UConn, he was brought in to free up the load for Joseph Addai in the same way that Addai was used with Dominic Rhodes. Due to Browns lack of blocking skills, injury concerns and lack of playing time he has'nt become the back we think he could be, that changes this season and here is why.

Many on here say that Browns performance comes from a lack of an offensive line and their not wrong but to me, the thing that hurt Brown the most was our lack of a fullback. If you go back and watch film of Brown a UConn most his success came when had a FB out in front blocking for him.

Now that Pagano is coach and Pep Hamilton is our OC, we will finally right some wrongs made by the FO in past years. Hamilton has already said that the Colts will use a fullback (Bet that Brown was salivating when he heard that) and with our revamped OL really all 3 Colts RBs should have a good year. And if not I think the writing will finally be on the wall for Donald Brown, if its not already.
