USA TODAY Sports

In two seasons at K-State, Malone had 109 tackles and 12 picks.

The final chip for the Indianapolis Colts in the post-draft poker game that is the collegiate free agent signing period has finally turned up.

Immediately following the final day of the draft, we reported the the Colts had signed Kansas State corner Nigel Malone. Our source for the signing was Malone himself, via his Twitter handle, and SB Nation's Dan Kadar. However, when the Colts released their official list of all collegiate free agents signed, Malone's name oddly was not there.

On Thursday, the oddness was clarified. Malone was indeed signed by Indianapolis. He will report to the Colts rookie minicamp next week, along with first round selection Bjoern Werner and others.

Malone is a 5'10, 184 pound corner who played in this year's East-West Shrine Game. In 2011, he led his conference with 7 INTs. In 2012, he lead his team with 14 passes defended and was tied with the team lead with 5 picks. In two season at K-State, Malone had 109 tackles and 12 picks. He played his first two seasons at City College of San Francisco.

And with that, we close out the last mystery in the "Who The Hell Did The Colts Sign?" game was seem to play every year when it comes to collegiate free agents. Pop the champagne cork!
