What's in a name?

An awful slow weekend of Colts news and I'm bored! Although, it was awesome watching the Pacers beat the Knicks ( I hate the Knicks). Not much action on my favorite Colts blog at all. So I thought I would share the meaning behind my screen name for those that have not made the connection.

Lord help our Colts comes from Duke Tumato, a local blues-man who has been entertaining locals in downtown Indy for years. He used to play it on the Bob and Tom show on Fridays as a kind of pep rally in the pre- Manning era, before our winning ways.

I joined Stampede Blue in the off season of Manning's first, (second) surgery. When we all thought it was a fairly simple procedure and he would be back at the helm in early, or late August. I thought what if something happened and Manning never came back to the same level he was. So, I chose the name for my sign in. The rest as they say is history.

Just thought I'd share that bit of levity with you all. Here is a link to the song, old school Colts fans will appreciate it a bit more I think, enjoy!
