Great Luck article

This article looks beyond the raw stats NFL.com uses and gives a great insight into Luck's rookie year (statistically). If a biased or ignorant fan (eg Biff Strongman who changed his account to hardrockspiffy) comes here to bash Luck, it is a valuable link to use to support your point. I'll copy and paste the first paragraph (to use up the word count): Though coming to a quick end in the playoffs, Andrew Luck had a season unlike any rookie quarterback in NFL history for the Indianapolis Colts. He set numerous rookie records, led the team from a 2-14 season to 11-5 on the strength of a record-tying seven game-winning drives and showed veteran poise in carrying the Colts to unforeseen heights. Despite handing the ball off a lot in his Stanford days and coach Chuck Pagano’s preseason talk of ground-and-pound, Luck was the Colts offense this year. His 730 drop backs are the third most in a season in NFL history, as the Colts relied on all of his skills week-after-week to move the ball.

Note: We shouldn't ignore raw stats totally (as the article title suggests)....nor should it be the way to judge a player (I think advanced stats are a much indicator). Luck's should definitely improve greatly in all statistical areas next year, and by the way, I even think Luck's mid-50% completion percentage was a minor miracle, given the situation he had to be in.
