last year during pre-season the Colts traded for a much-needed cb - Vontae Davis - baring any serious injuries in pre-season do the Colts need to be looking to make another trade this year?- should the coaches be comfortable with the starters/backups? should the Colts be looking at cuts when teams are getting down to the 53 man roster and if so what position(s) are the biggest need?
biggest need I see is another proven secondary guy - decent starters - maybe even nickel package - but it then drops off pretty quickly - - unless one of the f.a. steps up and wows - would like to see another veteran in the mix - you know there will at least be some missed snaps at cb - be nice to have somebody that could step-in while someone is getting re-tapped or looked at
next need another vet body in the o-line - if something happens to either starting tackle - go with Link? I would hope not - need to get a veteran that could fill in for a few games at either tackle -- guards look good if Thornton & Thomas work out - not sure want McGlynn as a backup - maybe Khaled can be backup at center and guard - still think Reitz may develop and Ben I might be back-up tackle and guard
unless injuries hit - solid at skill positions - nice mix of youth and experience -
d-line is looking deep - linebackers may be strength (will wait and see on pass-rushing)
would like to see an emphasis put on special teams play - get better field position and limit number of big plays - wish you a great season - Tom McMahon - confident in punter and kicker
feel good about season - Colts edge past Houston for another south title - if injury bug stays away Colts are playing in Super Bowl - GO COLTS
