I've read a lot of posts and comments lately about how either Pep or Manusky should be fired. THIS IS RIDICULOUS TO ME. It was the second game of the season! Both players and coaches need time to adjust to each other and gain experience. This is Pep's second game as an offensive coordinator in the NFL and you want him fired? That's crazy. Yes, we all have high expectations for our team this year. But the fact is that we are a 1 win, 1 loss team after two weeks. We have 14 games left to play.
There are way too many knee jerk reactions on here from Colts fans. Last week many posters were so sure that we had "no pass rush". Well today proved that theory wrong. For the past decade we have struggled immensely to stop the run. We finally put a DL together that is capable of doing that, and people complain that they can't get after the quarterback. It makes you sound like a bunch of spoiled punks.
We need to have a little patience and a little faith in our coaching staff and our players. Instead of trying to start a mutiny at the first sign of adversity.
