The team will have to make two additional roster moves to make room on the 53-player roster for the acquisitions. This is Guy’s second stint with the Colts. He was waived following the final preseason game after spending much of the 2012 season with the team. He appeared in nine games last year with 21 tackles and one sack. Nixon is a 6-6, 314-pounder who signed with the Redskins in May as an undrafted rookie out of Washington. The re-signing of Guy might be an indication the Colts will be without starting defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois for Sunday’s game at Jacksonville. He suffered a groin injury in last Sunday’s 27-7 win at San Francisco. The Colts also are thin along the offensive line. Starting center Samson Satele was inactive for the 49ers game with an elbow injury. Excluding Satele, there were only seven offensive linemen on the active roster.
