I don't know a whole lot about Louis, but the searching I've done indicates that the Bears thought of him as promising and were disappointed to lose him in free agency to the Dolphins, and that the Dolphins' subsequent cutting of him due to injury came as a surprise to many. Rotoworld describes him as a "worthy flier" and and someone who "isn't typically the kind of player inked to a reserve/future pact" (which I take to mean someone who is better than most such signings and has a better than usual shot to make the team). At any rate, it's hard to see how he could be worse than Linkenbach or McGlynn.
