I have been thinking a lot about what the Colts should do with Laron next year. Laron is 6ft 225; he usually packs on the weight during the offseason and weighs around 240. Now I've been thinking we should use Laron as an OLB next year here is why
1. He isn't great in coverage but he could cover elite TE's with his speed and agility.
2. I believe with his quickness and speed he would be a great pass rusher.
3. He can make plays from opposite side of the field with how fast he can make up ground
I know this is a highly unlikely move and maybe a crazy thought but Landry isn't the greatest at his position. With how well Howell played in place of him; I say let him start at strong and maybe pick up Byrd in FA market. Also, the league is a pass first league I think it's time to start putting smaller, faster players at that position to cover rb's, and the Graham's of the league. What do you guys think crazy ideal or it could work.
