One-time Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison and head coach Tony Dungy are finalists for the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame. This is their first year of eligibility in the Hall, and both should get in on the first ballot based solely on their accomplishments. Should being the primary word there.
Whether or not they will this year is still in question, but that question will get answered later today.
The Hall of Fame voters will make their selections from the 15 finalists, and the Class of 2014 will be introduced tonight during the NFL Honors show, which will get broadcasted at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX. However, the show is not broadcast live. It's taped at 5:30 p.m. ET, and you can certainly expect reports to get "leaked" well in advance of that taping on Twitter.
We've also got this report that the announcement will come at 4:00 p.m. ET, 7:00 p.m. Pacific.
Basically, sometime after noon today, we'll know if the chuckleheads who vote on the Hall will honor or screw Dungy and/or Harrison.
