Colts release OG Justin Anderson

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The former 7th round pick in 2012 from Georgia just didn't pan out.

The Indianapolis Colts have release offensive guard Justin Anderson. Anderson was drafted in the 7th round, pick no. 208 overall, in 2012, but never was able to develop into even a semi-decent offensive lineman on a team that was desperate for interior line play last season.

Anderson spent most of his two-year career in Indianapolis on some sort of injury list. For all of the 2013 season, he was listed on injured reserve, where the Colts placed him on back on August 9th, 2013.
