Saints getting rid of Roman Harper, Jabari Greer, Will Smith, and Jonathan Vilma

After just reading on nfl.com that the saints just let go of harper, greer, smith and asserted that they won't retain vilma this offseason I got a little excited. I know I'm probably just getting a little over my head but I think greer, smith, or vilma could be quite useful to our defense. After vilma's production has dropped off the past 2 seasons we could probably get him for cheap and he's been a proven aggressive inside LB that could def team up with freeman in the middle as we continue to develop mcnary. Smith is quite new to the 3-4 scheme as he sat out last season with his acl injury but I still have reason to believe he is dangerous off the edge and a good compliment to the opposing side of mathis' pass rush. Finally jabari greer, I've watched him play in buffalo and throughout his tenure in NO and I truly believe he is a very underrated corner. He can make a good nickelback on our D or possibly take over Toler's spot as #2.

Again, these are just some interesting thoughts I'm playing around with. Let me know what your thoughts are guys Good idea? Bad idea?
