Too much Cap Space for teams too little balance of age, demand and skill

Ya I saw that many of us saw the title and said what are you talking about. I understand but i'll go through it.

Cap Space for each team: http://www.spotrac.com/cap-tracker/nfl/

Every team is required to spend 89% of cap.

I'm not going to do the math for each team but with amount of cap required for teams doesn't add up to talent left. For the 133m cap number you'd have to meet 14m

Colts have before Nicks 20.7m now we have 18m.

Now look at top 5 needs: FS, OLB, C, G, CB

Then look at our draft spots and only 2nd and 3rd rounders usually turnout so don't think we'll really get starters from 5th, 6th and 7th rounders.

2nd round we get Gabe Jackson G , 3rd we get Lochuiez Purifoy CB.

So we have three needs lets look at top 5 free agents left in each category.

FS: Major Wright, Chris Clemons, James Ihedigbo, Kendrick Lewis, Chris Clemens and Mike Adams (IMO)

OLB: Parys Haralson, Akeem Jotdan, Nick Barnett, Desmond Bishop and Michael Boley (IMO)

C: Fernando Velasco, De la Puente, Kyle Cook, Steve Devalos, Mike Gibson. (IMO)

Almost everyone is old. Nobody wants very old players Their are only 53 roster spots. Their are many needs and if you do this with other teams as well you'd see why this cannot be fixed right now so teams like the raiders and other cap rich teams are gonna move over cap or are gonna sign a bunch of old players to cheap deals to fill the roster and meet the requirements. We won'thave this situation like others. The raiders have nothing to gain this offseason and this could be their last chance to stay in oakland. So with lots of team wanting young players who can come in and help they also seem to not seek out leaderhsip like some do. Look at this http://nfltraderumors.co/2014-nfl-free-agents/ and almost everyone of them much older players just wanting a contract that might not come. The market isn't friendly to vets and the cap isn't friendly to some as well. That's why teams overpay because other options aren't available. It's far enough in FA to overspend so we'll see what happens. Go Colts
