I'm hoping we draft him in round 6. I know we don't have a need at backup qb right now but Hassleback is retiring this year. And a good backup will become important.
He he can run a pro style offence. Seems like a pretty good guy with no real character concerns and would compete every day. Also having His fiancé in the Indy area more isn't the worst idea I've ever heard.
God forbid Luck goes down we need to be prepared. He would be cheap and I think effective. With our receiving core we probably wouldnt need an elite qb to come in and keep us competitive for a month. I know we don't have a lot of picks but I still think this would be a good use of one.
What does everyone else think?
